My name is Susana Pereira and I am the founder of this Academy.
Born and raised in the city of Braga, I remember always dreaming of becoming a teacher.
I’m a true Woman of the North, full of drive and energy.
So it wasn’t the difficult situation of teachers in Portugal that stopped me!
I finished my degree in Primary Education in 2009 at the University of Minho.
That same year I emigrated to Switzerland.
It was there that I began my journey as a language teacher: first teaching German to Portuguese emigrants and then teaching my mother tongue to Swiss people.
Still in Switzerland, I completed a postgraduate course in Adult Education, more focused on language teaching.
In my working method
SIMPLIFY is the watchword.
Simplify teaching to make it more accessible and understandable to anyone learning Portuguese, regardless of their level of education or previous knowledge.
By simplifying complex concepts and explaining them clearly and concisely, I help students overcome learning barriers and achieve goals.
My approach is patient and careful, ensuring that each student can learn at their own pace.
That’s why my students range in age from 7 to 75, given my high adaptability.
I’ve been working solely online for more than three years, and I have students all over the world with whom I share my culture and mother tongue.
My professional goal is to leave a positive mark on my students’ lives by providing them with a learning experience that I call 3D (didactic, dynamic and diverse).
I believe that a well-structured lesson with a creative approach can help students become more confident, enabling them to achieve their personal and professional goals in an excellent way.
