Yes, completely free. No credit card, no catch. SP Academia offers this class as a way to introduce you to the Portuguese language and our teaching style. All we ask for is your registration so we can send you the access link.
Do I need any prior knowledge of Portuguese? +
Not at all. This class is designed specifically for absolute beginners — or those who only know "olá" and "obrigado/a". If you've never studied Portuguese before, you're in exactly the right place.
What platform will the class take place on? +
The class will take place on Zoom. After registering, you'll receive an email with the link and joining instructions. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.
I live in a different time zone — what time is 18:00 Lisbon? +

Will the recording be available if I can't attend live? +
This is a live, closed-classroom experience — part of what makes it special is the interaction between students and teachers. Recordings are not available for free classes, so we encourage you to attend live. Register anyway and we'll let you know about future sessions.
